Emergence ~ Chaos ~ Structure ~ Style
Hello, I'm Bonnie Remeika. I'm a designer, developer, and technologist with a career spanning nearly three decades.
Bonnie Remeika is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose career spans the spectrum of creative production—from the underground to the corporate boardroom.
Her origins lie in the high-velocity world of nightlife, where she worked as a DJ and visual designer in the early 2000s, cultivating an instinct for atmosphere and electronic aesthetics. She grounded that energy in the industrial sector at a commercial print press (Cleveland), achieving the rank of Union Journeyman printer and mastering the rigorous mechanics of physical production.
Expanding into the digital realm, Bonnie spent nearly a decade in the global pharmaceutical sector, operating as a Front-End Developer and UI/UX Consultant for a Fortune 500 enterprise. There, she applied her design discipline to complex systems, bridging the gap between technical code and human experience.
Today, BonnieFire serves as the synthesis of these distinct worlds.
The studio is dedicated to Character Design and Original IP Development, currently focused on the launch of Skull & Beau—a "Geek Luxe" lifestyle brand that blends 8-bit nostalgia with high-fashion sensibilities.

This feed shows unedited daily progress. Each entry is a screenshot or video from the current workflow, validating the process, from vector design (Illustrator), Photoshop, HTML, CSS, JS, AI integration to structural layout (InDesign). I aplogize for music that plays in the background. I just made screenshots and uploaded them unedited. I intend to make a compilation video of them when I have completed this particular proejct.
Status:This project demonstrates expertise in layer hierarchy and non-destructive masking to ensure assets remain editable and consistent across multiple digital outputs.
This video (Vector Illustration) demonstrates my technical execution. However, during the process, I experienced an instance of high, unfettered creative flow that resulted in the complete, spontaneous generation of a new, core ancillary character for the project's extended narrative. This concept remains proprietary IP and is currently under wraps, but it serves as a proof point of my ability to rapidly develop complex, fully realized personas on demand.

I am trying to recreate a place that I used to work in Cleveland called "The Mercury Lounge" from memory for a book I'm working on. My plan is to sketch it out in illustrator and then use the quasi "blueprint" to prompt with AI to fill textures like floor, paint, finish, lighting and then finish it off with a nice photoshop composition of some people dancing.

As part of my goal to show the daily work I'm doing on the book, I recorded this quick video session. It shows me working on and updating the code. This serves as part of the technical documentation for the book's production.
